I've spent most of my life selling, building, leading, training, creating, and solving problems inside businesses.
For a long time, I thought growth meant learning how to carry more.
More customers. More people. More responsibility. More pressure. More decisions. More weight.
I don't believe that anymore.
A business should become more capable as it grows, not more dependent on the owner who built it. Growth should create capacity. Better people. Better systems. Better information. Better decisions. More room to think. More room to lead. And eventually, more freedom to live.
That belief is at the heart of Northstar.
We don't come into a business looking for another product to sell it. We look at what's actually happening. Where money is moving. Where work is getting stuck. Where customers are falling through cracks. Where good employees are fighting bad systems. Where the owner is still carrying decisions the business should have learned to carry years ago.
Then we help fix it.
Sometimes that means strategy. Sometimes systems. Sometimes technology or AI. Sometimes sales, leadership, training, process, accountability, or simply getting the right information in front of the right human being at the right time.
The tool is secondary.
The outcome is a healthier business and a freer owner.
I've built at scale. I've experienced success. I've also experienced what happens when a business becomes too heavy for the people carrying it.
Both taught me something.
I'm no longer interested in helping an owner build a bigger cage.
I want to help build companies that are profitable, capable, resilient, humane, and increasingly able to carry themselves.
Because I believe business can create something much greater than revenue.
It can create opportunity for employees. Security for families. Exceptional service for customers. Wealth that survives generations. Time returned to people who've spent too much of their lives putting out fires.
And maybe most importantly, it can give an owner enough room to remember that their business is something they built. It isn't who they are.
That's why I built Northstar.
